##About

Principal frontend engineer with 11 years building complex, large-scale products. I own frontend architecture end-to-end, set technical standards that get adopted org-wide, and work closely with product and design to shape direction, not just implementation. My focus is platform-level UI, increasingly agentic: component libraries used by multiple consumers, and data-heavy visualization tools, often building these from 0 to 1 and scaling them from there. I started out full stack, and still build that way on personal projects.

##Experience

Principal Software Engineer (UI) Mar 2025 – Present
Harness (Traceable.ai merged with Harness, early 2025)

Leading UI architecture for the Harness Dashboarding Platform 2.0, the platform behind dashboarding across all Harness products and customers. Built an extensible widget visualization library and AI-native workflows for natural-language dashboard generation and editing.

  • Leading UI architecture and engineering for the Harness Dashboarding Platform 2.0, the platform powering all dashboarding across Harness products and its customers.
  • Designed and built an extensible widget visualization library spanning tables, metrics, charts, and gauges out of the box, with a query language supporting both visual and code-based authoring.
  • Built AI-native workflows into the platform including dashboard generation, full-dashboard editing, and fine-grained customization down to individual widget properties, all driven through natural-language interaction.
  • Architected the platform for dual consumption as an embeddable library or standalone micro-frontend, with a pluggable API layer letting host applications override storage, query execution, and schema behavior independently.
  • Designed a type-safe filtering system supporting global and widget-level scopes, configurable override hierarchies, and custom field mapping across heterogeneous data sources.
Founding Engineer (UI) Apr 2020 – Mar 2025
Traceable.ai

First UI engineer in India, building the frontend foundation from scratch. Drove technical direction (architecture, data contracts, component standards) across a product surface that grew to a 12-engineer team, and led multiple 0-to-1 initiatives from standalone products to major platform capabilities.

  • Joined as the first UI engineer in India, building the frontend foundation of Traceable from scratch. Owned the India-side architecture and became one of the key voices shaping foundational decisions that the product was built on for years.
  • Architected and built multiple 0-to-1 greenfield initiatives ranging from standalone products like Bot Protection and Application Security Testing, to major platform capabilities like Threat Activity and Data Exfiltration. Each required deep iteration, rapid prototyping, and close collaboration with backend and data science to define the right abstractions and user experience from scratch.
  • Drove technical direction across all major product verticals within Traceable, defining UI architecture, data contracts, component standards, and coding practices that ensured consistency and maintainability across a broad and growing product surface, adopted by a team that grew to 12 engineers.
  • Partnered with PM and design at the earliest stages of each feature to shape requirements, challenge assumptions, and define the right scope, regularly influencing product direction through technical insight.
  • Open source contributions available at github.com/hypertrace.
Member of Technical Staff (UI) Jan 2019 – Apr 2020
Rubrik

First UI engineer on the India CDM team. Stood up a co-located UI team from scratch while continuing to deliver features, and ran enterprise customer feedback sessions to inform product direction.

  • First UI engineer in the India CDM team; responsible for standing up a co-located UI team from scratch while continuing to deliver features.
  • Built and delivered multiple CDM features end-to-end, working directly with PMs, design, backend, and QA across geographies.
  • Ran user feedback sessions with enterprise customers to inform product decisions and validate feature direction.
Software Engineer (Full Stack), Trust Engineering Nov 2017 – Jan 2019
LinkedIn

Built internal tooling products end-to-end for the Inspector platform, set UI architecture and component standards for the team's tooling suite, and mentored engineers on frontend development.

  • Designed and built multiple internal tooling products end-to-end (User & Roles Administration, Black/White-listing, Red-tagging, Groups Management) for the Inspector platform.
  • Designed UI architecture and component standards for the team's internal tooling suite; mentored engineers on frontend development practices.
  • Built an auditing and review framework for access control management, eliminating manual review overhead.
Member of Technical Staff (Full Stack) Jul 2015 – Nov 2017
BloomReach

Grew from entry-level engineer to tech lead for the full dashboard stack within 2 years. Designed an extensible SSO infrastructure adopted across all products and unified multiple UI applications onto a single cohesive stack.

  • Grew from entry-level engineer to tech lead for the full dashboard stack within 2 years.
  • Designed and built an extensible SSO infrastructure for the BloomReach product suite supporting SAML, OAuth, and LDAP via Auth0, adopted across all products with a clean abstraction layer separating identity from application logic.
  • Unified multiple UI applications built on disparate technology stacks into a single cohesive UI, establishing shared component patterns and reducing integration overhead for new products.
  • Built an automated testing framework for the dashboard stack, enabling the team to ship with higher confidence across a rapidly evolving codebase.
